Make Original Spring Layouts

Spring, the season that so many of us call our favorite. Winter can be beautiful and fun for those who love to ski or snowboard, but after so many months of having to wear multiple layers of clothing and digging the car out before going anywhere, is it no wonder that so many people look forward to the spring season and their spring scrapbook layouts. If this sounds like you and you are ready to celebrate the season, how can you do this? What are some unique and original ways to dress up your spring scrapbook layouts?

The first thing you might want to think about for your layouts is the choice of color. Many people use soft pastels for spring pages, but why not try something bold and brilliant? Find paper that is a deep and rich purple or crimson. You will also want to use other elements and embellishments to help break up the color, but be sure not to overpower the color. By using a strong color as your base, you will be creating pages that are unique.

The next thing you need to do is pick a main focal point. Do you have a favorite photo to use? If you are not sure of an idea, you could try to create a greeting card or a postcard. You can frame them like a photo and they can be very beautiful and unique. Flowers are a typical option when it comes to decoration, but don't limit yourself to this. Since many animals have their babies in the spring, you can do a baby animal themed page. You could also do a sun and bird theme.

Spring layouts can include springtime sports as well. Remember the holidays during spring, like Easter. You can take pictures of Easter egg hunts and Easter outfits. Try to take pictures of your garden, and watch the plants spring to life. Then use photos of the flowers as they bring color to your yard.

When making Easter page layouts, don't limit yourself to Easter bunnies and Easter baskets. You can use the scrapbook to show your faith, and show others what Easter means to you and your religion.

Spring time brings warmer weather and outdoor activities galore. Consider creating pages of a boat on the water, picnics, or any activity that can be done when the weather is warm. Since there is no right or wrong way to make scrapbooks, don't hesitate to get very creative and make some unique and fun layouts.
